In December 2023, the Fed-tWin project MUSIM was launched at the MIM to study the museum’s archives and produce a publication on its history.
Richard Sutcliffe, the researcher leading the project, has also launched a blog where he shares interesting discoveries and stories from the archives. Current posts include an account of Franz Liszt’s visit to the MIM and the museum’s connection to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
