What are the secrets of a great symphony orchestra? In this activity, preschoolers and first-grade pupils are immersed in a world where violins sing, trumpets blare, and conductors set the beat while dancing.
First stop: the MIM, where the children get to know the different instruments of the orchestra. They also get to playfully experience what it is like to perform together under the direction of a conductor. Next, it’s time for the real thing! The children walk to the concert hall to attend a rehearsal of the Belgian National Orchestra.
Schedule: the visit at the MIM begins at 9:30 a.m., and the rehearsal at the Belgian National Orchestra ends at 12:00 p.m.
