Inside the orchestra

Guided tour+ in collaboration with the BNO

1st-2nd grade

What are the secrets of a great symphony orchestra? In this activity, preschoolers and first-grade pupils are immersed in a world where violins sing, trumpets blare and conductors set the beat while dancing.

First stop: the Musical Instrument Museum, where the children get to know the different instruments of the orchestra. They also playfully experience what it is like to play together under the direction of a conductor. Then it's time for the real thing and the children walk to the concert hall, where they attend a rehearsal of the Belgian National Orchestra.
