Claire Chantrenne holds a degree in history and musicology (Université Libre de Bruxelles). She first started working at the Centre National d'Histoire des Sciences (KBR). In 1999, she made the switch to the MIM. After being in charge of the library, she is currently responsible for the archives and instruments from East Asia and Oceania.
