Seul, le silence...

Erämaa Trio

Erämaa Trio was founded in 2016 by three musicians who graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and Hogeschool Gent in contemporary music, with the ensembles Ictus and Spectra, and historically informed performance.
Erämma is an ensemble of variable geometry, when it comes to developing a repertoire with voice and other instruments, as well as a live electronic / live video repertoire.
Firmly focused on the music of the 20th and 21st centuries, the trio explores a wide range of styles, revealing to audiences the full diversity of this music of our time.
In November 2017, Erämma won first prize in the Léopold Bellan international competition.
The trio is regularly invited to festivals and venues such as the LOOP Festival, the Journées musicales de Belgique, the Académie royale de Belgique, the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles... They perform in Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Japan.
Since 2023, Erämaa has been in residence at the Forum de la création musicale.
