Family concert

As part of the Traces Chamber Music Festival, the MIM presents three exceptional concerts celebrating music that was born in challenging times, yet never lets hope fade.

The March 7 concert invites children and their families into a world of imagination, where words and sounds come alive together. Elephants, bulls, and a magical soup blend with music to tell stories filled with humor, tenderness, and poetry.

Set off on an adventure with Babar the Elephant, discover Ferdinand the Bull who prefers peace to fighting, and share a mysterious soup made from simple stones and big ideas. This joyful concert is for children, parents, grandparents, and anyone who loves to laugh and listen to stories brought to life through music.

  • Ferdinand, le petit taureau by Alan Ridout (text by Munro Leaf) – for violin and narrator
  • La Soupe de pierres by Joël Hoffman – for violin and narrator
