A day of encounters between researchers and collection holders
The purpose of this day is to give researchers the opportunity to meet collection holders in Belgium in person, enabling them to explore a wider range of research topics using local collections and fostering active collaboration between researchers and collection holders.
Programme
10:00–12:00 — Small-group tours
Small-group tours of the MIM’s instrument storage facilities, as well as its library and archive.
Places are limited and registration via the online form is required.
10:00–12:00 — Closed session
Concert Hall
Session reserved for university and conservatoire faculty members and collection holders.
12:00–13:00 — Lunch break
Lunch is not provided. A picnic area is available at the MIM, and several restaurants and supermarkets are located in the immediate vicinity.
13:00–15:00 — Collection presentations
Concert Hall
Presentations of collections from participating institutions.
Open to the public.
15:00–17:00 — Speed-dating
Foyers
Participants will be given a schedule of five-minute meetings between individual students and collection holders.

- The event is free of charge, but registration is required as places are limited.
