La finta semplice

La finta semplice, or ‘the Fake Innocent’, is the first full-fledged opera by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, which he composed when he was only 12 years old! More than 250 years later, it's still hard to believe that this opera was written by a 12-year-old.

It’s a comic opera in three acts, set in Cremona in the mid-18th century. Expect a story full of love, intrigue, confusion, and deception. Let yourself be swept away by the beautiful music during an afternoon in which you’ll be left wondering—who really is the ‘innocent’...
