Throughout his long career, Joe Hisaishi has composed for films, anime, video games, television, and advertising. His most famous works include the cult films of Hayao Miyazaki and Takeshi Kitano, earning him four Japanese Academy Awards for Best Film Music. His music has become inseparable from the films themselves, creating timeless, magical soundscapes that continue to captivate audiences worldwide.

Founded by Belgian conductor Karel De Wilde, La Chapelle Sauvage is an international ensemble of young professional musicians. Driven by bold, free artistic energy, the ensemble explores a wide repertoire and ventures beyond the conventional with a creative, contemporary, and demanding approach.
