EtCaetera

Un quintette aux multiples facettes

EtCaetera was born from the ambition of five young musicians, united by their passion for wind quintet repertoire. The ensemble quickly gained recognition, notably winning the 2021 Génération Classique competition organized by the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles. Despite their diverse backgrounds and personalities, the members came together at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, bonded by a shared love for Belgium.

Their rich, colorful sound reflects a deep musical connection. With curiosity and boldness, EtCaetera creates original programs that blend classical and contemporary works, occasionally infused with elements of popular music. A particular emphasis is placed on championing Belgian repertoire.

Driven by a desire to share their passion with younger audiences, the quintet regularly collaborates with Jeunesses Musicales de Belgique, introducing children to wind music in fun and engaging ways. Their commitment to reaching a wide range of audiences has led them to perform throughout Belgium, France, and the Netherlands, in venues ranging from concert halls and museums to scenic gardens.

EtCaetera is supported by Chamber Music for Europe and Festivals de Wallonie.
