Masterclasses for the Queen Elisabeth Cello Competition
As part of the Queen Elisabeth Competition for Cello, EKHO is organizing a series of masterclasses in the MIM concert hall. These sessions, led by three members of the competition jury, are intended for master’s-level students.
Each day features masterclasses within the following time slots:
- Thursday 28 May 2026: 9:40 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Friday 29 May 2026: 9:40 a.m. – 11:10 a.m. (followed by a concert at 12:30 p.m.)
- Saturday 30 May 2026: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
These masterclasses offer both musicians and the public a unique opportunity to witness the dynamic exchange between artists and teachers. They reflect EKHO’s commitment to fostering dialogue between performers and instrument makers, with the aim of advancing musical interpretation and instrumental excellence.
Participation is free and open to all.
