Doctoral Day in Musicology and in Music 2023
The aim of this day is to bring together doctoral students who are preparing a thesis in music/musicology at a Belgian university or conservatory, regardless of the subject, period or region of interest of their research. The aim of the meeting is to enable researchers working in geographically close universities to discover each other’s work. It should encourage the confrontation of methodological questions and the discussion of historiographical, theoretical or artistic problems.
Each doctoral student is invited to present his or her research in English, Dutch or French. Participation is free, but registration is required. Professors and senior researchers are cordially invited to attend the day: their presence will offer the speakers a unique opportunity to benefit from diversified advice and to enrich their reflection.
