To mark the 100th anniversary of the death of Victor-Charles Mahillon, founder of the MIM and a major figure in the development of organology, the Galpin Society and the MIM are organising a joint conference in Oxford (28 June 2024) and Brussels (5-7 July 2024). See the attached call for papers.

Abstracts of papers (500 words maximum) and a biography (no more than 100 words) should be submitted by the 15 January 2024 by completing this form for the Oxford section (The materiality of musical instruments) and by email for the Brussels section (Musical instruments between industrialization and geopolitics).
