Jan Novak was a Czechoslovak composer and writer, born in 1921 and died in 1984; he lived through 20th-century history in Eastern Europe and in exile in Denmark. He was posthumously rehabilitated by Vaclav Havel in 1996. The program will mainly feature works including the flute.
