The Joannes Couchet harpsichord, Antwerp, 1646, is an exceptionally beautiful instrument: beautiful to look at, but above all beautiful to hear. The great master Bob van Asperen agreed to make a recording so as to immortalize its magnificent sound - and so that the harpsichord can be left in peace. The result is CD mim012 "17e-eeuwse klaviermuziek in de Nederlanden" (Seventeenth-century harpsichord music in the Low Countries). On sale or to order via our museum shop [1].
